GULC doesn't. Other schools may, it varies. Usually in the email they send with the link to the status checker it will state the policy
Thx, that means I'll have to check every week or so on my own.

Another complete today. So much for a pattern. At least I don't have to keep checking the mail this week! Just my inbox for WUSTL.

What does it even really mean when the date on the status checker changes?

I submitted a fee waiver request last Monday (it's a TFA waiver, so it's automatic) and have not heard back. Has this happened to anyone else?

Spooky. 10/7, 10/14, 10/26, 11/1 for me.

Either they are just absolutely screwing with us or they are processing us in batches. Hopefully the latter and hopefully its down a happy path.

Supposedly it means they're accessing/reviewing your file. But it could mean absolutely nothing.

I'm still held from 10/12, but I'm not sure what it means if you didn't have a hold request. I'm calling them today.

I was pretty nervous since I didn't get an interview request until about a week and a half after most TLSers did. I was pretty sure that I struck out when I wasn't invited with the first group. GULC likes to play with our hearts. As long as your application is complete, there's no reason to read too much into it imo.

Well my numbers are a reach for GULC though (161, 4.11, NA), and I applied super early. The complete radio silence and no date changes makes me think it's a possible auto deny. I'm neurotic if you couldn't tell.

Pretty much the same, only later by exactly one day for each date. Wonder what it all means (assuming that it means anything at all )

Hey guys :) Just wanted to hear some opinion on this: My numbers are 3.4/169 -- Should I apply ED in early January or just RD now? I have all my apps ready to go -- but I am currently EDing somewhere else and if I don't get in there, I'd want to go to GULC. But I'm worried that EDing in early January won't do me any good and whether I should just apply RD now.. it's just that my numbers are a bit too low for GULC. Thoughts?

Is the other school higher or lower ranked?

That is my plan but I am contemplating on what I should do if I dont get in there. :( Im trying to figure out my chances for GULC (if it would be better to apply early in Jan ED after i get rejected from the other school OR if it is always better to apply early in the cycle even if its through RD).. Does this make sense? :)

If you get waitlisted at GULC, do they notify you by email? I recently had my interview (I am ED) and I know I will be waitlisted so I just want to know how to best mentally prepare myself for the moment I receive the waitlist news. Every time I see that I have a new email, I freak out. Thanks!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
