I want to believe this, but part of me won't allow it until the letter is in my hands...Mike12188 wrote:Last year I got my credentials, was able to log in and I got so excited, then the next morning it kept saying invalid, and wouldn't let me log back in so the next week it took for my letter to arrive was the most agonizing week ever. If it generated you a username and password, Congratulations you're in. This happened last year and there wasn't anybody that posted that it was a mistake. If it doesn't generate anything for you, they haven't admitted you yet. I tried a couple times before it finally emailed me the credentials.scottybared wrote:Yeah, it seems like the ASW is dividing us into 3 groups: those who can get in entirely, those who get the login credentials but can't log in, and those who can't even get the login credentials. I'm in the second group btw. I'm hoping it means that we're accepted but it takes a couple of days from them to get everything processed.
I believe I got my email about it with my first update. However, I applied there a little later (11/14 maybe?) and never received my status checker/complete email until later (No idea what happened, but had to email them about it). I think the day after I emailed them asking about it, I got the status checker resent and it updated because I got the interview request (I assume that's why it updated, anyways)... And now to freak out about my interview tomorrow ._.Lurkster wrote:For those of you who were invited to do the one on one interview, how many complete updates did you receive prior to the request?
FWIW, I waited 4 weeks before contacting the office about not receiving an interview request. I received an email back, apologizing for it and letting me know they'd match me up with someone else. I know the email before was posted where they said they automatically rematch if they haven't gotten a response after two weeks, but if its been 3-4 weeks, as it was in my case, I'd email, you never know if you've slipped through the cracks.crumpetsandtea wrote:OMG, alumni interviewer, WHY WON'T YOU EMAIL ME????????????????????????????????????
I was the one who posted that email, so I have already notified them (I broke and contacted them again after a week and a half ) Now it's been ~2.5 weeks and I'm freaking out again. I probably will try and restrain myself until the 4 week mark though, because I don't want to flood them with neurotic emailsmatvei wrote:FWIW, I waited 4 weeks before contacting the office about not receiving an interview request.
