Maybe it has to do with geography crumps... im in california too and I responded to my request the day after thanksgiving....haven't heard anything yet either...whatever downside there is to the time delay would be outweighed by the downside of refusing the interview I would think anyway

Yeah, given my borderline #s, I definitely would NOT turn down this opportunity. I'm just wondering how annoying it would be for me to email the office again to (as samara said) make sure they didn't forget about me! XD

I doubt geography has anything to do with it as the interviewer presumably lives in your area.

Just acknowledge in the email that you don't to bother them, but want to make sure that the interview process is still moving along.

No need to worry yet. LSN only has two rejections so far.

Right, I guess I didn't mean geography itself so much as the possibility of fewer available interviewers out here. Any explanation other than ur #'s suck so we'll get around to whenever we can would do for me:)

Just curious. For those that did the group interview, when did your status update and when did you receive a decision?

A thought just occurred to me............seems like there are so many interviews....... past cycles have told us that the ratio of those interviewed are approx. 40:40:10:10 for accept/prefferred WL, WL/reject.
Does anyone know how many interviews that GW does in total for each year>>

Also, approx. what percentage of those on the preferred WL make it off the list?
Food for thought while we wait......................

Had a phone interview a couple of days ago with an alum. Best interview of my life, the guy was super nice and even said GULC would be lucky to have me. Now let's hope the admissions people agree.

After the interview, I'm really excited about GULC because they're one of the few schools that focus on what I want to do: international human rights law so fingers crossed!

Anyone apply after Thanksgiving? I applied on 11/28 and have had two different completion dates -- 12/01 and 12/07.

I'm dying to know how heavily the committee weighs alum input...and how quickly they issue a decision after an interview.

Had Alum interview 2 weeks ago, no status checker update. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Anyone know if GULC subsidizes ASW visits, especially for those of us all the way out in CA :( Nothing on their website...

Wondering this as well. I had a phone interview on Monday and my status just updated today. Do they general update one more time before a decision goes out?
