how long does it normally take to get the status checker?
You're in good company - I just submitted my ED app last week. Now for the waiting!

Also, slightly different sub-topic: How is everyone planning on studying before school starts, for those that have been admitted (or just really hoping, like myself)? On my end, I am reading up on a ton of those 'Law School Confidential' and 'Your First Year of Law School'-esque books for the general areas they recommend, and then buying and reading course materials ahead of time if and when I actually get accepted.
Does anyone recommend taking some of the law school prep summer courses out there, or can speak to other methods that seem particularly helpful?

Oh man, if only. Objectively, I'm ready to accept the long wait that all of our diligent applicant forebears from November and earlier have put up with already, but mentally I want to know NOW!

Does anyone know the lag time between getting into the ASW and getting the letter (I think someone said they don't do any updates past complete, but I could be wrong).

I got my username/password 1/9, and I still haven't gotten my letter... so it seems like it takes awhile.

I went complete around 1/9. Since then, I had a status update on 1/13 and now today 1/17. The status still says application completed, though. Not under review or anything like that. Can anyone give me any thoughts on what this means?

I can't remember well, but I want to say mine never said anything like "under review." did you check the ASW?
