got the interview request email yesterday. i'm a borderline candidate at best, so i'll do whatever i can get to convince them to let me in.

Applied 10/25, went complete on the 26th or 27th. My status changed from Application Complete to Application Complete on the 14th. Maybe (Hopefully) I'll have something before Thanksgiving.

Same!!! Let's cross our fingers... If you get an acceptance it will be probably about a week before me, if I have one coming... I live abroad so I have to wait longer... :[

My interview went amazingly. Extremely laid back. She told me about the school; she mostly talked about it's strengths but touched on a couple weaknesses. Asked me why law and why Georgetown questions. It was a very informative interview on my end. We connected on a lot of different things. Overall, I felt like the hour long interview (longer than NU and Vandy interviews I did) flew by.

TBH I don't really remember any of the other questions--strange since the interview lasted ~1 hour. Why Georgetown/Law started the conversation but the interview definitely wasn't scripted. It felt more like just a normal conversation where she was introducing Georgetown to me and I was introducing myself to her as an alumna. The remaining questions all were just a continuation of whatever we happened to be talking about at the end of the last question. It was a really pleasant experience... if other Georgetown interviews are like this, you shouldn't be worried at all.

Also, FWIW she was surprised at how early in the cycle this was to be doing interviews (so don't get the typical TLS OCD quite yet). She said she has been doing interviews for a couple of cycles now and that, typically, an application has to jump through some hurdles to get an interview. I felt like the purpose of the interview was similar to NU's interview--they just want to make sure you're not socially inept to the point where you'll screw up at OCI.

will do. i hope they can get me scheduled sooner rather than later. they said the process could take a couple weeks and that it wouldn't be an impairment to gaining acceptance if it did take that long. with rolling admissions i just don't see how that's possible though.

I really wish they sent emails and not just snail mail. If you guys get an acceptance next week, with similar dates as me, I will be freaking out since I will be visiting family on the east coast all week, in DC ironically

I really wish they sent emails and not just snail mail. If you guys get an acceptance next week, with similar dates as me, I will be freaking out since I will be visiting family on the east coast all week, in DC ironically

out of town all next week as well. any acceptances sans interview would sure make me feel better. or, at least, slightly less paranoid.

Someone said that they can interview you via skype if necessary, so that doesn't matter.

Haven't the interviews in the past/this year gone to mostly borderline candidates? I really don't think it is a bad sign not to get one....

I was also admitted without one, and I'm in a good-sized city. My GPA was quite a bit below their median too.

I was also admitted without one, and I'm in a good-sized city. My GPA was quite a bit below their median too.

Congrats. Yeah I am in a big city where I am sure there are GULC alums... but it would be nice to A) be accepted and B) just get accepted now instead of waiting for the interview process. My gpa is pretty far above 75%, but LSAT is 169 (median is 170).

We have almost identical stats. Have you looked at the LSN graph for this year? Very encouraging news for 169's & high GPAs.
