Yes. If there is an available alum in your area, You'll probably have a personal interview. Otherwise, if you get an interview offer, it'll be for a skype or phone one.

Could be that its better to have not updated today, I'm certainly no shoo-in. I also applied ED and just had an interview on the 5th so could be on a different track. I think you and your sparkling gpa will be just fine

I'm guessing, based on myself, that it isn't a good thing to have updated. I updated several times in november and then again yesterday and today as well.

Just got a call from an unknown DC number...

"you've been randomly selected to participate in a survey concerning the nation's debt crisis."

This is the second time this has happened, but the first time it was a CA number and I thought it was Berkeley. This has to stop.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. This time I stayed on the line long enough to press 9 and "permanently delete myself from this call list" - doubtful that actually works.

Did anyone who had their address update get WL/rejected? It seems to me like the only reason to update an address is to mail an acceptance (crosses fingers)

What exactly do you mean when you say your address updated and did it happen today? My country of citizenship space now says USA, it used to be empty

Mine added USA and also changed things like "E. 69th St" and "apt #" to "East 69th St" and "apartment #" right before I got in :) good luck!

Has anyone else that submitted a video via YouTube been obsessively checking the "video analytics" feature? Mine indicates that my video was watched 1 time in DC on 1/3, 4 times on 1/9, and 3 times on 1/10. I don't think anyone else in DC has the link to the video, so I'm assuming the admissions committee is sitting there with a bag of popcorn, laughing at how lame my video is, and wishing that I had just gone full out "Elle Woods" on them instead...

Whoa you can do a video? That's kind of awesome. My video would be so bad...

Yeah, it was one of the "new optional supplemental questions": 5. Prepare a one-minute video that says something about you. Upload it to an easily accessible website and provide us the URL. (If you are using YouTube, we strongly suggest that you make your video unlisted so it will not appear in any of YouTube’s public spaces.) What you do or say is entirely up to you. Please note that we are unable to watch videos that come in any form other than a URL link.

I liked how unique it was, and had a good idea for it, so I decided to go for it. I did not realize until recently that it could also serve as a barometer for when my application is actually being reviewed.

Can you describe exactly where the address change happens?

It is on the top where my name is, or beneath it where citizenship etc

well for me the only thing that changed is USA being entered into the "country of ctzn", space....If you have a bunch of abbreviations and directionals in the address listed at the top left those apparently update to USPS recommendations as well when they send out the letter.
