Congrats to everyone who heard back so far today! This first round seems a lot earlier compared with previous cycles. Hopefully the rest of us will get our decisions earlier than usual also.

Yeah, on my list of when I expect to hear back, which I made from the graphs, I have Cornell at "late Nov., early Dec." I suspect this is only more evidence that applications are significantly down this year. Not that more info is really needed since the data section on LSAC says as much.

Does anyone know how many people Cornell normally "admits"? On their website, it says,

How many people applied last year?

Recently, we received over 6,000 applications for approximately 205 - 198 seats in the first year J.D. class.

But I was curious to know how many acceptance letters they send out... any idea?

My status has just been "complete" since 9/26.... Should it be "under review now"?? Is this a bad sign? Super nervous now...

When did you submit though? Also, has anyone been admitted without having date changes in the status checker?

IN via email! So excited!!

Submitted: 10/23
Completed: 10/25
Decision: 11/9

My status checker never officially said "Under Review," but the paragraph on the top of the page did say it was being forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review about a week after my application went Complete.

Congrats! Wow you got a decision in like 2 weeks! May I ask what your numbers were? Curious to know whether that has any impact.

Did status checker change to "decision" or is it still at "complete"?

Congrats to everyone who got in!!! I'm extremely happy for you all. :D!

I hope they show some splitter love soon. Definitely one of my top choices. LSAT above 75th, GPA around 25th. :/

I believe their acceptance rate is around 22% (according to the TLS profile which seems a little out of date). That would make approximately 1320 offers.

All available on the LSAC site when you log in:

6,269 applicants
1,083 offers
205 matriculated

Not sure if that data is for Class of 2014 or 2013.

Congrats everyone who got in!!!

Good/scary to know they're so early this year...interesting to note that they haven't called anyone for an admit so far... Even for the person who got invited for a Deans Scholarship

Congratulations! So you have decision 11/8... is that when you got the email? Wondering if it is pointless to constantly check the old email today..
