Yeah. If last year is any guide, you would think that there would be some major movement this week.

I'd guess mostly waitlists and dings for people with the 2/27 update, mostly acceptances for the 2/28 2/29 updates.

Does Cornell see substantially more apps than other t14's? I'm just curious as to why it seems as if they take a bit longer than most places.

I don't think they have very many people working in their admissions office, so they take a bit longer to get to everyone.

And for the RD ones that didn't get updates I wouldn't be too worried. It seems they are deciding EA fates now. There is still hope for everyone.

Of course! Thanks for the encouraging words. I hope you hear good news soon!

The 2/28 and 2/29 people seem to have stronger numbers. This is just speculation though. I'm in the 2/27 cohort.

edit: you seem to be an exception though... your 170 gives me hope. PS go to Penn or something so Cornell is infinitesimally more likely to admit me. Congrats on your awesome cycle.

Do you mind PM'ing them to me? Maybe it will be a bloodbath for all but the 2/28s.

Seriously, what is Cornell's trend? I haven't even heard of an acceptance in a while, at least not a wave of them. It's my top choice and I'm sitting on 1/29 complete date.
