Does anyone else ever get worried about over-checking status checker?

I have a scenario in my head where every time I update it momentarily freezes their screen on the other end, and they're trying to update but it keeps getting buggered up when I update, so after like 5 minutes of it they just say "screw it," and throw my app in the reject pile...

Here's to hoping that all the updated dates lead to decision emails going out later today.

I REALLY hope so ... but in all reality, what is our odds of it happening today? Anyone want to take a jab?

This probably won't help you but I am as close to absolutely certain as I can be that this is not happening.

11/11 updated to 12/12

If only there were a 13th month, and I could get a decision on 13/13 for continuity's sake, but then again I'd rather not have to wait another month for a decision :)

Please love me now, Cornell!

My status just updated to 12/12!! Yay! Complete 11/17 but they still consider me under EA. Hoping to get a decision soon.

So I think I'm the only person on this thread without a status update since my original complete date.

Msblaw, if we get in today, I will buy you the fine beer of your choice at ASW.

Come on, beer gods. Don't you want the man/woman to have good beer?

Me as well. I tend to agree that it seems there may be a very large batch of decisions coming soon.. it seems that the other candidates were able to sneak in before the 'bulk' and now the rest of us will hear by the holiday break

I'm pretty sure all of this 12/6 and 12/12 business has been a huge batch of acceptances with full-tuition scholarships.... That's probably why it's taking so long... they have all our apps in hand and they're just like, "are you sure we want to do this?" and Dean Geiger or someone else, in a grave yet auspicious manner says, "yes, I'm sure."
