Yes. Cornell is really slow, especially with RD.wphr wrote:i submitted my application on nov.19.

How many of ya'll still waiting that applied on/after 10/31???
I'm thinking (really praying) that this may be what's taking so long... maybe they just have not gotten to our 'pile' of apps yet.
I applied 10/31
EDIT: horrible grammar

Also applied 10/31, although I didn't complete until 11/10 as I had to send in an updated transcript.gaud wrote:How many of ya'll still waiting applied on/after 10/31???

Looking on LSN the most recent round of acceptances were for those that applied on 10/24 and 10/25, I'd say it's very likely the 10/31ers will be part of the next batch so take it easy :pgaud wrote:How many of ya'll still waiting applied on/after 10/31???

I applied around 10/25 and went complete 11/3. What's really worrying me is that people who went complete around the same time have been hearing back. I'm willing to bet they deferred me.

Re: Cornell c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
I applied 10/27, complete 11/3, no movement since. I am at/above both 75ths, I really don't think 11/3 is the kiss of death yet. We aren't supposed to hear back until mid-December, and only ~4 people on LSN that applied 10/24-10/25 (and no one who applied later) has heard back. Most people who have heard back applied in September.minnbills wrote:I applied around 10/25 and went complete 11/3. I applied 9/26, went complete 9/29, and went complete again (and maybe another in between) on 10/31. Likely a waitlist

Yikes. If you're likely a waitlist, with all those updates, that doesn't bode well (theoretically) for those of us not moving.chem wrote:I applied 9/26, went complete 9/29, and went complete again (and maybe another in between) on 10/31. Likely a waitlist

I don't think COrnell is giving responses in the order they received the apps... really the only valid explanation

Just thinking that since people much later than me have gotten decisions :/franklyscarlet wrote:Yikes. Re: Cornell c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
I applied on 9/26 and just heard from them yesterday. There were plent of people who applied a month or so after I did that heard back almost a month before I did. Bottom line, don't lose hope they don't necessarily do them in chronological order, as my status did not even change 'til 11/21. The adcoms do their thing sporadically, so don't worry about when you applied or updated. Hope this helps.chem wrote:Just thinking that since people much later than me have gotten decisions :/franklyscarlet wrote:Yikes. hey y'all! I've been lurking awhile and finally decided to be a member. I just got my application completed email today. 166 and 3.72, a reach but hopefully my LOR from a teacher who barely knows me and run of the mill personal statement will put me over the top.

I hope you liberally sprinkled Archer references (which I assume is what your username is) throughout your personal statement. I'd admit that.THATSHOWYOUGETANTS wrote:hey y'all!
