Apparently not! Would this be an appropriate time to start quoting Ke$ha?

The deadline for applicants is this week I believe? I wonder how long EA holds will have to wait to discover our fates.

Is it really?? That would be good news.

I kind of get the feeling that we get pushed to the side until all of the RD people are considered. Although, it is very possible I have pulled that from the deepest recesses of my ass...

Seems the deadline is the 1st of February. I believe we will be pushed back, as the thread from last year gives the impression that EA holds did not get a final decision until some time around March :(

OH SHIT I'm at 1/24/12 . Considering it's my reach as a URM and that I applied in early Dec, not sure if this is a good or bad thing :(

Just sent my ap in with a hold for my February score. What LSAT should i need with a 3.32GPA to get in this late? I know 169 is normally the benchmark but with their being less seats i'm aiming for a 171.

Mine also updated today. I can't remember whether it is the 2nd or 3rd time though.

How long does it usually take after you go UR? I applied end of December and went UR 1/20... stats in profile if you care to comment on my chances :/

It took me about two and a half/three weeks from when I first went UR to when I got in. I had 4 "updates" in that time as well. I was also EA if that means anything.
As to your numbers - I got in with the same LSAT and a slightly higher GPA, but you seem to be right around their median, so I wouldn't worry. I'd say you have a pretty decent chance!

Anyone who knows otherwise should feel free to correct me if I'm wrong... but deferred candidates didn't hear back from Cornell last cycle until like the end of March/beginning of April, right??

While this is true based on last cycle's thread (which was horribly depressing and I don't recommend to anyone to read), they do say they'll start reviewing us after the Feb 1 deadline. My only hope is that the lack of applicants will force them to admit some of us earlier.

You may have a point there. I recall someone in last cycle's thread mentioning that the admissions office said they wouldn't be looking at the deferred applicants until 8-12 weeks after the app deadline  (I think).

Let's hope that "after the Feb 1st deadline" means IMMEDIATELY! lol please Cornell
