What do you guys think are the chances of those with 12/16 updates hearing from Cornell today? The wait is killing me... I'm in Asia, so it's past 2AM here, and I'm sitting by the computer constantly refreshing TLS and my status checker... AND my e-mail, of course.

Actually, I got WL'd at GW today....my intern suggested I take a picture of myself wearing a Georgetown sweatshirt and email it to them with my request to be taken off the waitlist!

I love how t14 skools love you, but t20-30 skools get all crazy and WL you. And you should def. do what your intern said (but would your really go to GW?)

Wow, my status got updated as well! 11/07 > 12/12 > 12/16 Eeeek, I was NOT expecting another update! But it seems like a lot of people got the 12/16 update??

yea, i've noticed that too. i'm wondering if it's the last update before they close for the holidays...

this may come off as being totally pessimistic.. but i wonder if the last batch (12/13ish) was the last full acceptance batch... anyone else sharing this negativity ??

I definitely think they can't all be acceptances. But who knows.

I share it wholeheartedly. I think a ton of us are going to get coal for Christmas from Cornell.

Well when Zelda (correct me if I'm wrong) called the admissions office, they said all EA applicants would hear back from them by 12/20. So I think there would have to been one more update or communication of some sort before they close shop

Could be.. I'm more or less saying that I don't believe all of the 12/16ers can be acceptances. i hate to be the person bringin in this negativity.. just sayin that there seems like an awful lot of 12/16 updates...

that being said, I WOULD LOVE to be wrong about this

Yeah, I would not be surprised to see this be a mixed batch. I am really trying to hope that it's not ALL rejections or some nonsense like that.
