Has anyone who has been accepted heard anything about financial aid/scholarships? Looking on the admissions website, I can't seem to find a clear answer as to when the scholarship info (whether merit or otherwise) or sent you. Do we have to submit the FAFSA/NeedAccess/Cornell Financial Aid Forms in order to be considered for even merit scholarships?

Thanks!

Hey I talked with FinAid ... they said offers typically start in February and go all the way until March and I BELIEVE ( not 100%) you need to fill out the FAFSA first

They give you scholarship information when you submit your financial aid packet is what I've been told

Also updated 1/3->1/17->1/18, but I got an email requesting updated grades as well. Good/bad/neutral? Updated transcript will bring LSAC GPA from 3.39 to 3.4, not sure if that matters.

Got the 1/17 update but no update today. I guess it wasn't meant to be. Cue overly dramatic music.

I have a question. LSAC just processed an updated transcript (from 3.62 to 3.65). Is this going to push my complete date back? My app was received 1/9 so I still have a while to wait, but I hope the updated transcript won't make the wait even longer... I'm right at the medians (3.65 and 168) but applied late, so I'm freaking out a bit about my chances.

Also, should I shoot the admissions office an email about the updated transcript? According to LSAC, they already sent the updated info.

And congrats to everyone who got in!

Got a phone call from one of the assistant deans today checking in with me. She encouraged me to join the facebook group and told me about the ASW weekends. She was extremely nice over the phone.

Sad face.

Thanks Msblaw!

I'm hoping that somewhat unpredictable applicant numbers may cause Cornell to pull quite a few off of the reserve this year.

Well, I'm off to spend the rest of the day alternating between Adele's "Someone Like You" and James Blunt's "Goodbye My Lover." Anyone care to join? lol.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJuSCPxTUvo

Placed on reserve at Cornell via email today as well which is apparently "several hundred people long." Rough.

Rejected  I was hoping for a wait list at least. Oh well, this means I can move on with my pans for William and Mary.

FYI: Complete 12/3, 1/4, 1/17, 1/19

Good luck, everyone!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
