wow, i went from hoping to hear from cornell today to desperately hoping i don't hear anything... it doesn't seem like there has been any good news today. i'm still sitting at 12/16... anyone else?

I'm not really surprised. I'm a softie (just created a new TLS word (if it doesn't already exist) for someone applying to reaches on their softs, and who has rare and substantive softs), so it absolutely makes sense that they would want to see more applications before giving someone like me a spot.
