I wasn't too surprised.....they seem to have a soft GPA floor of 3.3. Fingers crossed for RD.

complete 11/30, went to under review today, although not much to hope for if all of you awesome people are getting dinged or deffered. not sure what's going on with that.

Has anyone been rejected yet, or is it all deferrals?

There was a lot of carnage on the previous 2-3 pages of this thread.

So I guess it means something to be deferred instead of rejected?

I'm not really surprised. I'm a softie (just created a new TLS word (if it doesn't already exist) for someone applying to reaches on their softs, and who has rare and substantive softs), so it absolutely makes sense that they would want to see more applications before giving someone like me a spot.

Edited to now out myself.

I would totally do that. Provide the context and elaborate on it (those interviews always seem so softball and sound byte-y). You're probably not a celebrity, but random dilettantes do not often get asked to do such things.
