Thanks, this was very informative. Have people across the board gotten multiple UR dates before decisions?

YES. I went under review today too.

Anybody know how long it will take to hear back? I'd love to know by Christmas...
I was RD. Applied end of Oct. Went UR twice - first UR date was about three weeks after I sent, second one was a week after that - and I got in via email two days after my second UR date update.

ED here. Submitted 10/27, under review 11/7 and then again today. Here's hoping for some splitter love in the next few days, though I know Duke is a long shot for us.

Congrats! Did you respond to the scholarship information form previously or did they just contact you?
Haven't filled out the form yet, they just contacted me.

I submitted 10/25ish. I only recall a 11/14 under review status before I got admitted this past Saturday. I don't think I had an earlier UR date but I can't be sure, might've not checked diligently.

Has the Duke header always said " if you would like to submit/additional/updated material, feel free to do so by email or U.S postal mail. Feel free to contact out office admissions@law.dule.edu" when you check your status?

I thought the same thing this morning! My guess is we are just both being neurotic but it is odd we both had the same thought. Maybe it means nothing and they just added it because people were calling the office a lot asking about how to submit additional materials? Who knows. I have been UR since 11/28, submitted early November, not PT, stats in profile.

When did you receive your acceptance email? Just out of curiosity.

Also, does anyone have dates on receiving the admittance package after getting the Welcome to Duke Law acceptance email? It's been a week and still nothing in the mail :/

I've been accepted PT for a couple months and I just checked my status checker and that's still there. I wouldn't worry about the header. :D

I got my package around ten days after getting in and I've heard of it taking longer for others. It'll show up soon (and it's awesome).

It was more like 3 weeks for me, but I'm not sure if that's because it was really early in the cycle. It is pretty awesome.

Snail mail is so sloooow. But I am looking forward to my handwritten note. :)

Just to double check... do all acceptances come via e-mail first?

Anyone know how long it takes for the package to arrive after it's been sent?

Mine says "Sent 12/02" and I live on the East Coast in a city, and haven't gotten it yet :|

Mine was sent 11/30 and I got it yesterday. I'm pretty much dead center of the US geographically in a smallish town.

I seem to be freaking out on this thread a lot, but looking on LSN today, Duke has already accepted about 1 & 1/3 pages of applicants. Last year, they only accepted 2 & 1/3 pages of applicants all cycle (and use of LSN seems to be dropping each year). That means Duke has made the clear majority of their admissions decisions already.

Don't worry... most of those applicants are going to be going to HYSCCN

Would it help to give you some rationalizations about why this is not necessarily so?

I haven't picked up an LSAT book since early October, but I could probably dust off my "The conclusion above would be most weakened if which of the following were true" cap...

I mean I can't imagine a 176, 3.98 going to Duke over HYSCCN

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
