So just from looking at the WL Accept #s on LSN it seems that Duke is heavily favoring high-GPA applicants. Is it too early to read anything into that or does that say something about their confidence (or lack thereof) in maintaining that 170 median? Thoughts/criticism/baseless conjecture ?

I don't have my info on LSN, but I have a 3.63/171 and got in via wait list. URM status probably played a role in that though.

Can anyone tell me what to expect from the financial aid forms I'll get soon? What info do I need?

They should have another ASW for us in June - anyone else planning on making a trip to look at housing?

Congrats Irish!

Thanks a lot! It sucks that I'll have to make a decision without being able to visit the campus beforehand.

It could be a pretty easy choice depending on what other schools you got in to

Any movement on the waitlist for anyone? I've sent in 2 LOCIs, an extra LOR, an updated transcript. Getting frustrated with waiting!

Just got in via WL today. 169/3.84. I had just made my peace with another school too. Why must they mess with my head?

I got off wl last Thursday (5/10), and emailed them for financial aid info yesterday. I got the scanned scholarship letter this morning by email (the letter is dated 5/15), and they said they mailed the scholarship letter the same day.

I am extremely surprised at the fast turnover!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
