Should we assume that acceptances are done for today?

Also, are we still thinking it was a "wave?" Or would this be considered just a few acceptances?

I was actually leaning towards UPenn over Berkeley. Why do you prefer Berkeley?
I came to the East Coast for a legal job but miss California like crazy. I know I want to eventually settle in California so being able to just start my life there would be great. Also, it would be amazing to be a student at Berkeley. Just the whole feel and vibe of the campus (even at Boalt Hall) is something I've never experienced before. Plus, I've never met anyone who goes there or went there and regretted it.

+1. But hey, it's only 3pm here on the West coast, so we have two more hours where they will maybe send a couple more emails.
That's true. I'm also thankful I survived the last rejection batch :)

Got in by email this morning. UR 12/22. 3.9/171. Hope that helps.

This is the first school I've heard from. It feels unreal. Good luck, everyone!

Correct me if I am wrong, but it would appear most of the acceptances reported to this point have ben individuals with great numbers. I haven't compiled them, but based on what I think we've seen so far, almost all are really well above the medians if not 75% stats. Not surprising since most schools seem especially eager this cycle to solidify their medians early on before moving through the rest of the applicants.

We can anticipate that whole committee review deal within the month if they continue with their timeline from last year. I think it will be during that process when those of us who are more on the iffy side see some correspondence/consideration.

Also, since a lot of admits went out today, think there will be a wave of rejections before the end of the week?

On LSN last cycle there was a wave of admits on the 18th and 19th followed by rejection on the 20th and 21st

Berkeley, Penn and Columbia are the only schools I would have to weight out against Michigan and it's only out of convenience for being in a city but they're taking way too long to get back to me. I kind of just would rather get rejected so I could tell my husband we're out of luck and have to go to A2 and there are no other options.

Ditto. Ditto. I'm telling my partner just plan on Michigan for now but it's tough because I also want the convenience of a city for both of our sake.

So do you guys think we're due for more acceptances today?
I think there are fewer at this point than last year (through my unscientific lsn counting-by-staring-at-the-screen method).

Okay let's start a betting pool.

I'm calling 2:32 (because I like multiples of 4).

We're getting in at 3:33 Pacific. Yeah, I went to 6; I went there.

Plus, three is the first number. One is the unit, two the dyad.

In conclusion, Three Dog Night can suck it. One isn't the loneliest number: it isn't a number at all!

Q.E.D.

PS I'm sorry.

TLS: Ever since the LSAT scores, every time we've tried to guess the exact time of the scores/decision emails, they end up coming out much later than we anticipated or sometimes on a much later date.

Following last year's cycle to the detail is hardly a strong precedent for us to be wasting all day on here. We're all fairly smart people, shouldn't we be using our critical abilities on abstract dilemmas and art before law school?

Nahhhhh.

Look, I said I was sorry! I promise not to whip out random archaic math facts if we go to school together! Or, for that matter, bring up 3 Dog Night.

The Michigan job market sucks, it's scary.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
