The app says up to three can be uploaded. Only one required.

If he really wants to go to NU, why wouldn't he? They give $150k to ED acceptances. You're not going to get better money than that pretty much anywhere.

It fits all my criteria, and I'm debt-averse.

Bro, new ED policy means most of the people they'll be admitting ED will probably have those sorts of numbers. Splitters will likely be pushed to RD and then admitted w/no money (since historically NU tends to give out more large schollies at the expense of smaller ones)

Hello all NU hopefuls,

Since my guess is I won't be on here much between now and Saturday I wanted to wish anyone retaking on Saturday good luck. Knock 'em dead, and I'm looking forward to seeing all of you in the fall. Especially you Crumpets, good work on this thread.

PT. Those ten days are rough.

I'm super excited to get back to Chicago though, NU is one of my top choices.

Are you EDing? You'll get in for sure. You're Median GPA and 75th LSAT.

I wasn't quite sure where to ask this, so I'll ask here. I wouldn't think this would count, but would two years of Peace Corps satisfy the work experience requirement?

Why yes, it would! That's what I did :-) PM if you want to talk about applying as a PCV.

Well I'm currently in my senior year of college, and I would really, really like to go off and do Peace Corps after I graduate. So I was just wondering for the future.

By the way, does NU prefer to be faxed or mailed the ED certification letter? And do I actually have to send it, as it says, with the Certification Letter for Admission?

I know this was being discussed earlier, but do we need a work rec as well as an academic? Or, if not necessary, do you think it's preferred? No one at my current job knows I'm leaving next year and I kind of wanted to keep it under my hat a little longer.

edit for punctuation fail. LOLteacher.

Seems like if they value WE they'd also value a LOR that speaks to your WE. I'm sure plenty of people get in without one though.

blech. I guess I'll ask my department head; I think she'd be cool with my decision considering she worked in criminal justice for 10 years before teaching :)

Probably a good idea. If you didn't submit a work LOR, they'd probably wonder why.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
