Sure. This is my family's traditional recipe- use your fav pie shell. Some of the measurements are approximate, and use baking common sense like not putting the butter in when it's super hot, room temp eggs, etc.

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light Karo
2 eggs
~2 T all purpose flour
~1 t melted butter
~1 t vanilla
hearty pinch salt
1 very generous cup of chopped pecans (not minced. chopped.)

Combine, pour into pie shell at bake at 450 for 10 minutes then at 350 for about 30 more minutes. Cooking time really varies, so keep an eye on it. I often put a foil shield around the crust the last 10 min or so.

I'm not even patient ordinarily. When do we think the admissions office closes for the holidays? I would imagin we'd all hear about ED by the time they leave. The last finals are the 15th.

In Lord of the Flies, there were two factions: the hunters and the non-hunters (plus the littleuns). There were defections from non-hunters to hunters but not vice versa. I suppose ITT we have two factions: The Admitted and The Waiting (plus the lurkers as littleuns). And Johann is the admiral who rescues us at the end.
