I even checked the lovely timeline on page 1 of this thread TWICE. And read it Nov. 1 both times. Just had my interview. Loved the guy - he was a 2L and very friendly.
In other news, I just realized there is a glaring error on the resume I sent to every school. I use the word "perspective" instead of "prospective." Should I do anything? Or just pray they don't notice?

You can send it off as an "updated" resume? Maybe fix up a few things here and there or add foreign language fluency or something while you're at it.emkay625 wrote:Just had my interview. Loved the guy - he was a 2L and very friendly.

Not a make it or break it issue, just fix it for future use...I think trying to submit an updated resume to fix that is just going to make you look a little desperate.emkay625 wrote:Just had my interview. Loved the guy - he was a 2L and very friendly.

This. If they even notice, they'll probably give you the autocorrect benefit of the doubt.homestyle28 wrote:Not a make it or break it issue, just fix it for future use...I think trying to submit an updated resume to fix that is just going to make you look a little desperate.emkay625 wrote:Just had my interview. I'm beginning to realize that texting Aardvark might have been a mistake... every time I get an email from Northwestern Law, my heart skips a beat only to read more about the clinics or an overview of the programs offered at NU.
Want. SO. Badly.

After my visit, I'm more obsessed. I would do anything to get in.
That view?! seriously?!
Also, had a chance to talk to about 6 other people interviewing everyone was so friendly.

Did anyone answer yes to any of the character and fitness questions? I'm not sure if submitting documentation is a requirement or a suggestion.

Pretty certain it's a requirement. Even if it was optional, why wouldn't you submit an addendum?nids333 wrote:Did anyone answer yes to any of the character and fitness questions? I'm not sure if submitting documentation is a requirement or a suggestion.

I did. Mine was a very silly thing and I still submitted an explanation document. NU doesn't require a letter from the Dean, however, like some other schools, such as NYU, Columbia and Dukenids333 wrote:Did anyone answer yes to any of the character and fitness questions? I don't have readily available all of the documentation and don't want to delay the process any further. I guess I will have to hold off on submitting it for a little while.Samara wrote:Pretty certain it's a requirement. I think an explanation of the situation, if you remember all of the details, would sufficenids333 wrote:I don't have readily available all of the documentation and don't want to delay the process any further. I think there are NU rates at some nearby hotels. Not sure where the info on that is, maybe someone who's used it can fill in. Alternatively, I've had great results using the "name your own price" sites (priceline maybe??), as well as the one where you see the location and amenities but not the name of the hotel (hotwire I think?). You should be able to get a hotel for well under $100/night assuming you aren't coming on peak dates.bbalcrzy23 wrote:Any recommendations on where to stay in Chicago for interview?

These are the hotels from the list in the Admitted Students Guide that supposedly have an NU rate. (That does not necessarily mean they're affordable, however.)bbalcrzy23 wrote:Any recommendations on where to stay in Chicago for interview?

Hotels in the area may be pricy. I stayed at Chicago Getaway Hostel in Lincoln Park. Not a typical hostel in terms of amenities. Super clean, friendly, kitchen, free printing, private room for $70... And only a 20 minute bus ride to the law school. Good luck.bbalcrzy23 wrote:Any recommendations on where to stay in Chicago for interview?

Also, I've stayed in this hostel (LinkRemoved), and it was great.
