Nice. I hope there will be interview slots for all of us. I'm thinking about going early October too. 12-15th maybe. Got people all over, will probably stay either in Hyde Park or Boystown. Lemme know what's up with you guys when you have plans.

Thinking about doing the interview after October 1st too. We'll see...
Awww, thanks tmon!! I already have a place to stay though (coughdany/xifengcough XD). If we're in town at the same time we should def all hang out. Seems like you live there too, so even if Eich and I come on diff weekends ( ): ) we should still hang! ^_^
Yessss. Maybe I should finally give in to lounging as inc ever-so-subtly hints to me in the October thread so I know some of these people...

Hahahhaa! Sadly enough most of the people I'm meeting in Chi will already be 1Ls so I guess they can just laugh at my pain and reminisce about their own cycles--although HP and I are trying to coordinate visits, so that would be cool too

And yeah tmon...join the dark side...

Haha I know they are 1Ls, I was thinking purely and selfishly of only us and our feelings  At least we can see what it's like to be a 1L (and be scared away from law school?)

 You can hang out with me stranger.

Crumps we need to get Chicago pizza if we meet up. LOTS OF PIZZA. Last time I went to Chicago, it was for like a day and I had my little brother in tow and he was so not interested in looking at the school and the area, so I'll definitely wanna do that this time.

He and I did have a wicked time at the science museum though. 8)

Chicago deep dish pizza is the best! I've only been to Chicago once but we went to this place, no idea where, but the pizza was incredibleeeeee.

Also, Thanks Eich <3  Crumps

I wish I was coming too now! I haven't spent much time in Chitown over the summer, sadly. :( I went to UG at NU actually. But I was always away during the summers for internships, etc. It is amazing in the summer though. I love Belmont area/Boystown. SO much fun.

When I went to ASW, I knew I had to try the pizza and the hot dogs. Loved the hot dogs at Portillo's (minus peppers and onions), but honestly I thought the pizza (Giordano's) was just meh. Too much dough+cheese+bland sauce and not enough flavor and toppings. I'll probably get made fun of my entire three years there, but I was thrilled when I discovered Chicago has a Papa Murphy's take-n-bake. :P

Oh wow, oh wow. Pizza and drinking. I really need to come now. Muni said I'd probably be able to stay at his place.

DO IT. The Giordano's I went to was like 2 blocks from NU's campus, we could go after my interview (and drag all the other Hyde Park kids along with us  )

And if we're talking hot dogs, I went to Hot Doug's (not really in downtown, but we had a rental car so we drove there). It. Was. AMAZING. Holy shit, cannot recommend enough.

YES to Giordano's. I haven't had it since I was like 16 :D The last time I went to Chicago it wasn't really Chicago (visited family friend in Naperville) and the pizza place they chose to go to was ver ver disappoint.

^the hell is that? Not Chicago style pizza at any of the big 3 (Giordano's, Geno's, Malnatti's). No way.

Shasha: I'm pretty sure they post interview slots as time goes on, and only early ones have been added. At least that's what I grasp from the Admissions and Johann twitter accounts.
Anyone follow Johann, btw? Kind of amusing.

Oh thank you :) Hopefully one day I can replace it with a victory tar.

And Tmon it was terrible. Definitely not chicago style. I need to make up for that by gorging on the real deal. I hope I won't be morbidly obese by the time I start LS. I still haven't scheduled an interview despite my need to do it mega super early. I'm too scared.

This is BLATANT Malnatti's trolling to exclude Uno. Gotta say, I am a total Malnatti's gal myself, would kill my own mother for a slice of the stuff right now actually, but it's not Chicago stuffed. There is no extra layer of sauce on top. It's just deep dish.

HP are you staying in HP? lol. There's a Giordanos in HP but no other Chicago deep-dish. I will probably also be driving - how are you guys doing it?

OMG but seriously why is Malnatti's not in stomach right now? Thanks guys.

 I thought about including Uno's but since I haven't actually had it myself I decided to exclude it. More importantly though, I've DEFINITELY had chicago style from Malnatti's that was structured in this way:

sauce
toppings
cheese
cheese
cheese
crust

Not sure what you meant though. My definition is that it has sauce on top and cheese on bottom and tons of the latter. Malnatti's is pretty good...the crust sets it apart from the other options IMO.

Edit: Also, helllooooo potential numbers twin, Decartes :)
pending LSAT retake...

Where are you driving from? I'm flying in so I'll be slummin' it on the metro/subway ;)

And tmon, I do follow Johann but I never check twitter so I usually miss whatever important thing he has to say. I should probably link his feed to my SMS messages on my phone especially once the app cycle starts.
