If anyone wants to see the admitted student "binder" (which was only distributed in electronic format), I do still have that saved.
This happened to me last year when I deferred, once you start seeing some reference to the site by this year's admits, fire off an email and you'll get a new user/pass

I figured it would go something like that. Thanks for the info. Can't wait!

Particulars for the neurotic: I wore a suit, he was in business casual and I felt properly dressed even though it was at a casual restaurant. He picked up the check, I offered to split, he insisted. I sent a follow up thank you email.
Part of me really wishes I was doing an off-campus interview.

Sounds less intimidating. But I'm likely doing BED, so it's not an option. Plus I really need to visit.

Jelllyyyyy. Tickets are so expensive from where I live ;_______; TBH though if I get a good score and get into NU, I might try and find a jerb in Chi and move there early...like late winter of next year or something. Although I'm also considering leaving and travelling abroad starting late-spring so it might have to be some shitteh temp job if I do that.

I figured I wasn't going to ED anywhere, but if that's the case I might as well ED NW. Time to make plane reservations.

I seriously doubt I'll impact anyone else's cycle with this decision, especially since I was going to apply RD anyway.

But if I match your LSAT, my ED might be enough to counter the fact that your WE is a ton better than mine.

ETA: not that my LSAT's going to be anywhere near yours

True. Our GPAs are close enough that it could come down to me vs you. Any chance they'll take two splitters?

I also reserve the right to change my mind. But if I'm willing to roll the dice with no ED anywhere, I might as well apply to Northwestern ED. There'd be no better outcome short of a Harvard acceptance.

If it were down to me vs. you, you would win even if I get a 180 b/c of the WE difference. I currently have 5 months; you have a ton.

I could see them taking zero splitters (through ED). They won't be offering that many full rides.

Oh, yeah. There's no telling how they're going to approach ED admits this year. I'm just talking acceptances overall I guess because NU was so stingy in the past and I'd be shocked if a typical splitter admit got the ED scholly.

It was my perception that NU didn't hand out as many scholarships as peer schools. Seemed like they went more for large schollys for people who they thought were competitive elsewhere to try to lure them in. Am I off?

They tend to give a few large scholarships instead of a lot of smaller scholarships (see: UIUC, UMich)

Here's a list of their scholarship people from last year:

http://northwestern.lawschoolnumbers.co ... 11&type=jd

Seems like for the most part they use money to lure median protectors (especially on the GPA side), although it's hard to figure out the exact process. I know RobotClubMember said he got 60K with a 171/3.6, and 60K seems to be what you'll get if you get anything at all.
