Yea..."Beginning in January, we expect to complete our re-evaluation of those candidates who have chosen to remain on hold."franklyscarlet wrote:O_O I forgot about that!bbalcrzy23 wrote:I'm expecting/hoping the ED holds to be completed tomorrow....they said they would finish them beginning in Januaryfranklyscarlet wrote:Hoping you're right about decisions on fridays!crumpetsandtea wrote:I'm excited for decisions tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! Kind of weird way to phrase it.

Hmmm...I don't think this means they'll be done in January, it just means that Jan is when they start the last batches of held ED-ers. It's still possible that they'll go into Feb.bbalcrzy23 wrote:Yea..."Beginning in January, we expect to complete our re-evaluation of those candidates who have chosen to remain on hold."

But if that is true, then we only have 2 more decision days until they're done with all the held ED-ers O_O!!!

No, nothing admissions-related today, but I'm guessing it'll be tomorrow based on past acceptances. We had waves on 12/21 (Wed), 12/29 (Thurs), 1/6 (Friday), 1/13 (Friday). That's once every week, and always later in the week, with 2/4 being on a Friday.JamMasterJ wrote:have we heard anything from Johann concerning more admissions tomorrow?crumpetsandtea wrote:Hmmm...I don't think this means they'll be done in January, it just means that Jan is when they start the last batches of held ED-ers. I'd imagine Chicago to be much windier because of the high-rises.JustE wrote:I hear Chicago has harsher winters than AA... Any truth to that?
Outside of the comfort of the Mich threads, no one's going to get AA or A2 haha

Both winters are pretty lousy, but Chicago is in many ways worse because of the lake effect.

I've never been to Ann Arbor, but I imagine the answer is yes. The wind here, especially downtown, can be brutal. And we don't really get the milding effect of the lake that the Michigan side does. At least Chicago doesn't get the lake effect snow, usually.JustE wrote:I hear Chicago has harsher winters than AA... Any truth to that?
