Darkwings seems to be the only one out of the three admits who isn't above both medians. No surprises here...

Didn't see this mentioned, so in case anyone's sitting around refreshing their email/status checker. Via Twitter:
all ED notifications for today are now out.

Is your gpa closer to 3.7 or 3.8? because N reports to the closest 10th and if you're 3.75, they can say you're at median

Question for all applicants:

When was the merit based early decision scholarship announced on the Northwestern website. I applied in early October and read through the Northwestern website sometime in August and early September and never saw this opportunity. I chose not to apply ED for fear of being accepted and not being able to afford the school. I would definitely have applied ED if I would have been aware of the scholarship. Maybe I just missed this last paragraph? But I don't feel like I did.

It wasn't announced until later. I got an e-mail about it in the second week of October.

Also, it would be nice to hear by next week. :)

Man, that makes me sick to my stomach. I never received that email. I would have absolutely switched my application to ED. To those that did, congrats on being accepted. It's truly a great accomplishment and opportunity.

Yeah, they were really quiet about it. Some of us found out in September via Twitter/G+, but I don't think it was on the site until October.

That said, I'm pretty sure if you have the numbers to get the ED scholly, you have the numbers to get a decent RD scholly. So, I don't think you're missing out on anything if you are expecting RD sticker. It seems like they wanted people who were really committed to the school.

Check page 25 of this thread. Looks like it was announced on 9/20. As Samara said, they were fairly quiet about it even after that initial announcement, although I did receive two emails about the offer.

Thanks all. And I don't think there's need for doom and gloom (yet). It definitely sounds like there will be more ED batches.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
