One of Joffrey's shows next year. Sounds really fun!
February 13-24, 2013 - Nine Sinatra Songs
Choreography: Twyla Tharp
Music: Frank Sinatra
Tharp creates an enchanting mix of ballet and ballroom dance set to the incomparable Frank Sinatra. With glamourous dancing, Sinatra's classic recordings and costumes by Oscar de la Renta, this piece is an "indisputable winner."

Placed on hold. Does this translate into a nice way of saying 'you are out'? It does not look like a decision will be made till May .. A little confused on what to do ..

Looks like my app with reviewed along with all of the recent holds...since all I got out of it was a second complete date (which it seems like not many people have gotten), any opinion as to whether this is a good or bad thing?

I was no good at all and never got en pointe, but I was in Royal Academy ballet long enough as a kid to still appreciate it. And then Oscar de la Renta costumes + Sinatra? Anyone know if they reimburse you for travel expenses for on-campus hold interviews? I doubt they would but it would be nice if they did.

They're not even reimbursing for travel to ASW this year.BigBlueLaw wrote:Anyone know if they reimburse you for travel expenses for on-campus hold interviews? I doubt they would but it would be nice if they did.

I never went en pointe either, but I was more serious about ballroom and modern. This sounds like all things that are good.rinkrat19 wrote:I was no good at all and never got en pointe, but I was in Royal Academy ballet long enough as a kid to still appreciate it. also try renting a condo for the weekend, try vrbo for example. you can find a few fellow asw and split a 2 or 3 br for the price of a single hotel room.BigBlueLaw wrote:Not cool. Soo...has anyone done any prelim research on holds from last year? I tried to look, but didn't find anything too specific. I am most concerned with 1. when people tended to hear, and 2. how many people actually got accepted (obviously).
