Congrats everyone! Hmm, I'm thinking of writing an LOCI in January but not sure what to say, because I said everything I wanted to in my PS. Are you guys sending updates only if you have something new to say?

I didn't have a Stanford-specific PS, so my LOCI will probably involve some "why Stanford" material. (LOL at our confidence levels - already planning our LOCIs when calls have just begun. )freestallion wrote:Congrats everyone! Do we think they are still on September submits? It doesn't seem like they've gotten very far...

Is it possible that after all her musing about how to order calls, Dean Deal settled on "ladies first"? Any guys in so far? (Sorry igelchen, I don't know your gender!) It appears that everyone else in so far is female.

There was at least one October submit. in case anyone doesn't feel like scrolling through the pages, (and at the risk of seeming like a creeper, again, since i did this for H too):t.o.o wrote:Do we think they are still on September submits? It doesn't seem like they've gotten very far...

Raj - 3.9, 170, submitted 9/30
igelchen - 3.8, 177, submitted 9/23

4.1X, 170, submitted first week of October... don't remember the exact date.
Oh yeah, and I'm also a guy, if that helps.

Thanks omnivore. According to LSN, raj is a girl. But LSN/TLS is such a small sample . . . I guess that explains what would otherwise be an unusual gender ratio for early decisions.

Re: Stanford c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Oh sorry I did it a loooong time ago, right after the first round of KB2s when I was freaking out, then the waves started coming too fast and LSN started to get more data points. So I gave up. Also, it looked like KB was going back through the piles so submit dates stopped correlating so closely with the waves of KB1s/2s.zdamico wrote:i looked through the harvard thread but couldnt find it?

Reporting to confirm that I am in fact a lady Raj = short for Rajvi. No worries, ladybug! "Raj" is deceiving.

Hi Everyone,
I am not sure that this is the correct place to post this question, but considering you have all already applied I was hoping I could get an answer.
Is it possible to have my undergraduate school fax the Dean's letter? The school will not mail it unless I send them a stamped envelope and as I do not live in the same city/state I cannot go pick it up and send it myself. I see that the form said it "will not be sent electronically" but is fax included in that? Thanks in advance!

Why don’t you call Stanford and ask?teacher10456 wrote:Hi Everyone,

Yes, you can fax the form. The number is 650 723 0838. Mine was faxed and my status checker updated the next day.teacher10456 wrote:Hi Everyone,

? Your school won't mail it without getting an envelope? That seems odd. But also you can't send them one? Idk, it all seems odd. But anyway, my school mailed it. However, they made an error, and after talking with Stanford, they let them update the form with a fax.teacher10456 wrote:Hi Everyone,

To add to everyone else's reply, several people successfully faxed the form and some were able to email it to admissions@law.stanford.edu.teacher10456 wrote:Hi Everyone,
