I was UR 1/19.

Oh... Oops... Carry on then.

There is no particular method to their madness. I would expect to hear within the next 30 hours or so - hopefully, a WL for you :)

Haha, well thank you. Looking at the numbers of people who have been waitlisted though.... It's totally going to be a ding for me.

Regrettably withdrew (and feeling a bit queasy about having actually done so) - hope my doppelganger gets a call soon!

let's see if a high-GPA, high-LSAT non-URM gets the call in the next two days.

Long time lurker here...

DLS in the past few hours. Called and I'm WL'ed.

173/3.7 from Duke, non URM, complete late Jan.

Hopefully many people decide to go elsewhere and we all get off the waitlist!

Are we anticipating a total URM bloodbath tomorrow?

Another day
Staring out of my window
Thinkin' 'bout tomorrow
Wishing things would clear

No nee to rush
I ain't gonna worry
Any moment my sorrow
Is bound to disappear

Sometimes I tell myself
I'm better off without you
And then I have to face the emptiness
I feel inside without you
And find a way to make it through another day

Unfortunately, I think it may be time to get out the violins. The URM boat may be sinking tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong and that there is something to this doppelganger theory. Maybe Dean Deal will make some calls to the survivors? Goodness knows we could do with some good news in this thread.

I'm hoping if there may be a few extra URM admits once Stanford's firmed up its 25-50-75th numbers. If your LSAT/GPA numbers aren't going to budge, might as well admit a dozen more URMs and significantly bring up your diversity numbers right?

Ugh... why did I go and dig up last year's thread from April?

It doesn't look good, folks. It doesn't look good.

I wouldn't win, but it would make for a better story than opening an envelope to find a rejection.

Personally, and I'm sure that any vets will agree, I think we should have a hunger games-style scenario every time they take someone off the wait list.

And may the odds be ever in your favor! --ImageRemoved--

if we're all doomed to the wait list or a rejection, what is the hold up?!

I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong, the hold-up is related to whether or not we are waitlists or rejections.
