Well, I have spent the last 9 years in the Army training for just such an occasion where I would need to fight to the death to attend Stanford.

Yeah, we Marine and Army applicants would form death squads with pleasure. Nothing personal.

People would definitely pay to see this.

Also, imagine the OCI... "So, what did you do between college and law school?" "Oh, I spent 9 years in the Army. Then I found out there was only one spot left for the SLS 2015 class and that there was going to be a Hunger Games-style death match for it. Those K-JD's and Teach for America wimps didn't stand a chance. Check me out on YouTube."

Meh. It all depends what's in the cornucopia. I'm also wont to root for the underdog, so I think I'd end up supporting someone charismatic and dying for their cause.

I've been dragging my feet (my excuse is that I'm East Coast) but I guess I'll just suck it up and check my mail tomorrow. Good luck to everyone else who survived!

Anyone notice the two rejections today? Granted they didn't have strong numbers, but still... two reported in the past hour.

A few hours ago. Submitted on January 13, but my application wasn't reviewed until March because of the missing form.

Both are strong but not spectacular.
