174/3.95. Non-URM. Complete late Nov.

Edit: just called, waitlisted, whoo!

Laughed out loud at this.

Finally had the fortitude to check my status...and its just complete still.

I think waitlisting takes time/finesse on the part of admissions. Unfortunately, those who haven't heard, will probably be rejected in a massive click of a button which will generate a rejection letter automatically. Maybe not exactly, but I feel this way.

Anyone know how much movement the wait list gets?

DLS this afternoon. 3.98/175, Oxbridge grad degree with some decent work experience. Am disappointed, as I really wanted Stanford; but my decision is at the moment a bit easier, at least. Best wishes to all those remaining (and all of us who are likely set to ride out the wait list)!

We basically had the same cycle. Same $ at Chi too. I have Oxbridge too but it was for abroad. Must be due to the similar numbers :D

In that case it appears as though I am thoroughly and completely screwed.

What can ya do?

Wow...really? Well some things aren't meant to be. Where you plan to head off to next year now?

I really liked HLS when I visited in March, so they've got my $500.

Haha, I know it! Since you posted on my LSN I've kept an eye on your cycle and have been struck by the similarity. Will you be in Cambridge next year? Or am I for good reason thinking you're planning to defer?

ETA: Wow. Looking back at your LSN, I see now that you definitely are deferring. I think I may have first seen this on the HLS accepted students Facebook page, though.

With Stanford, once you've hit a certain point (perhaps 3.8+/170+), they stop concerning themselves with numbers. They know what they're looking for, and I didn't have it. Though this late in the cycle it's hard to expect any positive news, I wouldn't consider my experience predictive for those remaining.

Same here, looks like I didn't have enough panache for Stanford. If my DLS is a waitlist, then it looks like I'll be waiting all summer with Yale and Stanford (and maybe Harvard too). Good thing I've learned a little patience this cycle 8)

My(limited) understanding was that SLS had more of a strict gpa line than LSAT? So far this yr does that, the opposite, or neither hold true?

3.90 and 167. Non-URM. UR since 1/6. Unique softs, but I have NO idea why they are still hanging onto my application. A 167 is dreadfully low for Stanford. I would appreciate my rejection any day now :)

Looks like they're holding on to splitters and reverse splitters, and waitlisting strong numbered candidates. Makes me think that all the rest of us are rejections that'll come out Fri or Mon. Oh well.
