3.4, 176. Low GPA, obviously, but in a tough major, and with unique work experience. Hopefully there are a lot more calls today for everyone.

Wow. I've never seen a 3.4 accepted. Kudos to you and your application. Are you a URM by chance?lefty20 wrote:3.4, 176. Low GPA, obviously, but in a tough major, and with unique work experience. Hopefully there are a lot more calls today for everyone.

There are 120, though that includes a few admissions people and current students. Unlike with the Yale FB group (since everybody has FB and it's easy to join), I don't think the google group is indicative of the amount of admits, though.sharktankdean wrote:For those in the in at Stanford google group. Don't worry I usually double the number and subtract it from 380. So in my mind there are 140 (380-240) spots left. Lol. It may be very wrong that's what I'm gonna keep telling myself.

Well, looks like the day's calls are finished (5:00 in California).
I just checked my status. Still no DLS. I guess that means I live to fight another day.
Congratulations to everyone that got accepted today. Hopefully there will be more tomorrow for us soft holds.

Still nothing here, complete since early November. This was probably the most agonizing day of my entire cycle.

Ditto. Can't help but wonder if the last two days are the end of the admits. That was a *lot* of admits... Yikes.poe wrote:Still nothing here, complete since early November. This was probably the most agonizing day of my entire cycle.

Yeah, I've been keeping a healthy distance then fell off the wagon yesterday. I just can't understand why so many who will be rejected have yet to be informed. I'll try to regain my composure tonight and just chill until I learn my fate. In the meantime, I'll have to assume it ain't happening. It's the only way to keep one's sanity and remain productive at work.
