LOL. That's a pretty apt analogy, Elendil. Speaking as someone in that boat, I'm hoping a lot of us make it in and it isn't a Titanic-esque bloodbath.Elendil wrote: There's a ton of people in this boat, it's definitely going to capsize soon...

It will be a bloodbath. The only question will be how many of us can find pieces of furniture to hold onto...amc987 wrote:LOL. That's a pretty apt analogy, Elendil. I enjoyed this comment, as well as your tar and username. Can you think of any analogies from the LOTR universe that apply to our situation?Elendil wrote:There's a ton of people in this boat, it's definitely going to capsize soon...chucklesmcgee wrote:Submitted 10/25 and I'm still submitted for review. We're in Helms Deep and the orc raid is coming. Many of us will perish.Mal Reynolds wrote:I enjoyed this comment, as well as your tar and username. I like it. But Im gonna get super nerdy right now so ladies watch out. We would technically be in the Hornburg. The Hornburg was the fortress and Helm's Deep was actually the canyon behind the fortress.sn20 wrote:We're in Helms Deep and the orc raid is coming. Yes, and please make sure to have violins playing in the background as the boat goes down. I also wouldn't say no to a rendition of "My Heart Will Go On," but I know that's probably pushing the envelope.FryBreadPower wrote:I'll make sure to remark that it was a pleasure waiting with you gentle(wo)men when the ding fest comes.
Hopefully Aerosmith will suffice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKAn1HvmRXMElendil wrote:SEND BRUCE WILLIS TO DRILL THROUGH THE SOFT HOLDS!
