Alright. You know what? Time and time again, you get on here, ask people to read the signs and issue an honest, sincere prognostication about your future based on the only poor evidence you have to offer--and what happens? You get snark :x .

It was an honest question. Who knows? Maybe two identical emails is code for "you're in," the enigmatic symbol, like those legendary gray icons which announce the coming release of LSAT scores.

Aw shame. I was laughing because the answer to the question was so simple it was funny! In answer to your serious question though, I don't think Yale sending you two of the same email is secret code for "we're going to accept you", but of course I haven't been accepted yet so take that with a grain of salt!

Okay guys, please don't make fun of me I know my stats are so dismal I shouldn't bother but I just completed my app and I'm going to submit it by the end of the week, so I'm joining the neurosis in this thread as well.
Cheers to that.

I just saw this http://lawschoolnumbers.com/ReaganRepub22/jd and it gave me hope. Then I read and alas. Why people do this, I'll never understand.

You answered it in your earlier post, it gave you hope. People suck sometimes. Additionally, I suppose I'll have to wait for more admits before a "In at Yale" thread doesn't just immediately die.

Congrats, everyone! Come join the In at Yale thread:http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=174087&start=25. The In at Harvard and In at Stanford threads are really killing us right now--need to ramp up the page count!

They have a slight quantitative edge, no? I mean, what are there, 15 Yale admits so far?

I'm feeling a bit morbid, so let's start taking bets on when the first rejections/waitlists will come down.

I'm going with Feb 3rd.

I was complete Jan 10th.. so I'm guessing I won't hear until April, most likely? Sighhh seems like such a long wait...

Also, I guess there is no status checker?

Yale is as old school as it gets and this does not surprise me one bit and it makes me love them even more.

Haha, this is awesome. Actually, this makes it way less stressful because there is nothing to check, we just have to wait it out!

Right? and then all you do is check your mailbox which you would do anyway, except perhaps a bit more obsessively.

If I have the right school one day you might get a mysterious black box (in) or a nice envelope (a soft letdown) and it all remains a classy affair. +1 Yale!
