Sorry I forgot the important stuff in my excitement. Complete 12/22 and received my status checker mid January. Wrote a Why Michigan and said it was my top choice.

Lol, I'm getting tired of getting YPed and I'm getting tired of schools saying they don't YP. This process is leaving me very bitter.

I'll be getting my daily dose of it later, I'll see what I can divine for you camp.

Although, I have been wondering something. How are some people getting in on Monday morning's status checker. Excluding this weekend, the SC updates on Saturdays, and yet people have still been accepted via SC on Monday's. Since it updates at like 9 AM their time, I can't imagine they run in and make a decision before the update gives, but I didn't think they worked Saturdays so I wonder why some of those people don't hear back until after the weekend.

Not that I'll care if I get that Valentine's

Edit: And a lack of Chik Fil A near Mich is one of the only things I dread (moreso than the cold).

I'm sure it takes time to get from the admissions desk to the IT dude's desk. He probably just had to hit upload or something.

I completely gave up on checking statuschecker, due to lack of movement, but.... in with a letter today! I submitted my app 12/22 and it was complete 1/26. I didn't write any additional essays and I didn't have any sort of interview- this is a total shock!

My status checker wasn't changing for weeks, so I just stopped looking. After I got the letter I went on and saw that they had changed it just today to admitted, even though my letter is dated 2/10.

Clean your browser's cookies and temporary internet files - sounds like it's loading a cached version.

I...I never even realized such a horrible possibility (not having Chik-fil-A's nearby). This is going to require some serious research on my behalf.
