But Blowhard is correct that the most common construction is Let's Go Blue or Go Blue. Other appropriate statements are "It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine!" (typically chanted after a win) or "Hail to the Victors!" (often shortened to "Hail!").
I'm still in shock that I get to say these things.
Also interesting is that almost every 1L this year had football tickets in the first 8 rows of the student section. If you like seeing your football up close and personal...

This makes me want to hop on a plane to Ann Arbor now and demand that they let me in.

Does UM sell student tickets by row, or something? PSU just does general admission (used to be split into sections for freshman/sophomore, juniors, and seniors, but they just did away with that so now all the classes are mixed).

You have a seat. People don't tend to stick to their assigned seat, but you are generally in the vicinity of your assigned seat.

I've never been within 10 rows of my assigned seat. I've seen undergrads with row 70 in the front row.

I stand corrected. I'm usually within 3 or 4 rows of my seat.

this is the longest thread on TLS for this year. Thanks HP for setting it up, but even better (besides the earlier action) it says that Mich is a great school....one that people want to talk about...

At least I can deduce that....not an acceptance, ha...

Also, NU is winning despite the fact that they have yet to give out any decisions. Besides, 50% of the posts in here are people complaining about how long it takes to go complete or get a status checker.

In other news, why don't I have a status checker yet?!

Of course. Has anyone received a status checker on a day not named Wednesday? They told I went complete on Tuesday and that if I didn't get a status checker yesterday, it would be next Wednesday. Ugh, it takes so long to go through these initial steps, but at least it seems like they process you pretty quickly after going under review, unlike these other schools that put you "under review" for several interminable weeks while others around you are getting decisions.
