on a side note, I go by my middle name, and I put it as my preferred name on all my law school apps. Michigan is the only school out of 15 who have actually payed attention to that. It just makes me adore them more.
+1. Actually, GULC did this for me too. I find it especially annoying when other schools use my first name still when my email has my middle name and not my first.
SAME. I'm not going to correct them, obviously, but at the same time... it's right there!

Checking in. I submitted on 11/22, and got the app received email 12/7. I was really hoping that I'd get my status checker before Christmas, but it's starting to look like that's not going to happen. Anyone else who applied around the same time still in this boat?

Oh, and I love you, Michigan. Please love me?

Eh, your numbers don't make you THAT long of a shot; they just put you on the lower/lower-mid end of the acceptance spectrum. It's probably a long shot if you don't have good softs though.

Any updates on how long it's taking for scholarship $$ to be posted on ASW after being admitted?

Has anyone else, who hasn't received a decision yet, tried to access the ASW and been taken to the regular status check page rather than receiving the red text?

Is this good, bad, or inconsequential?

Yup, just tried it and it appears that they are just re-routing you to the status check. Real subtle, Michigan, we get it.

At least a re-route is a lot less distressing than a giant mass of red text.

I know I'm being lazy for not looking for the answer elsewhere, but how long does M say that they take to make decisions after going complete?

Most candidates will receive a decision within 10 weeks of their files’ completion, but occasionally, we require more time to thoroughly consider an application.
:? I'm at 8 weeks. I guess they're thoroughly considering. I don't think my app is terribly unique though. I guess my Why Mich was just good enough to get me considered but just bad enough to keep me out?

I have 5 weeks left too...but I'm fairly sure I'll just be getting a WL notification and then I'll get another 2-5 months of waiting x_x

Damn I was complete on 10/12. That waitlist email should be coming any day now.

So maybe that's not so bad huh! Mathematically I have to be accepted. I like where your head's at.

Don't sweat it dawg. This graph is littered with WLs at Mich that ended up with great options.

How long does Michigan take to make decisions on EDers rolled to RD?

Thank you.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
