on a side note, I go by my middle name, and I put it as my preferred name on all my law school apps. Michigan is the only school out of 15 who have actually payed attention to that. It just makes me adore them more.

Checking in. I submitted on 11/22, and got the app received email 12/7. I was really hoping that I'd get my status checker before Christmas, but it's starting to look like that's not going to happen. Anyone else who applied around the same time still in this boat?
Oh, and I love you, Michigan. Please love me?

Eh, your numbers don't make you THAT long of a shot; they just put you on the lower/lower-mid end of the acceptance spectrum. It's probably a long shot if you don't have good softs though.butchcassidy wrote:Updated today 12-20...Michigan is a longggg shot but I can dream, can't I?

Any updates on how long it's taking for scholarship $$ to be posted on ASW after being admitted?

Has anyone else, who hasn't received a decision yet, tried to access the ASW and been taken to the regular status check page rather than receiving the red text?
Is this good, bad, or inconsequential?

At least a re-route is a lot less distressing than a giant mass of red text.

I know I'm being lazy for not looking for the answer elsewhere, but how long does M say that they take to make decisions after going complete?

I'm at 8 weeks. I guess they're thoroughly considering. I don't think my app is terribly unique though. I guess my Why Mich was just good enough to get me considered but just bad enough to keep me out? Most candidates will receive a decision within 10 weeks of their files’ completion, but occasionally, we require more time to thoroughly consider an application.

So maybe that's not so bad huh! Mathematically I have to be accepted. I like where your head's at.paul34 wrote:IIRC, on LSN, waitlists don't start going out until after the new year, and then rejections after that. That is why I'm really concerned that I've been complete for quite some time. I fear I'll update... in January

Don't sweat it dawg. This graph is littered with WLs at Mich that ended up with great options.JamMasterJ wrote:If you get WLd, I have no hopeTiago Splitter wrote:Damn I was complete on 10/12.
