Yeah... I have last year's waitlist release letter sitting beside my acceptance letter in my yellow portfolio... If I end up going with U Mich, I swear I'm going to hang the rejection letter above my diploma.

It looks like the email was an indication of good things...which explains why I didn't get it. Sigh.

Mich, Boalt, and Penn are literally the ONLY 3 schools that I applied to that could potentially pull me away from NU. I wouldn't choose any of them right away over NU, but I'd have to sit down and think very, very carefully about what I want and where I want to be in the next 3 years.

I always knew I was never getting into Boalt or Penn (they both HEAVILY value high GPAs over high LSATs), but I'd had a small well of blind hope that Michigan would take me...but it's looking like that's not going to be the case. ):

Mich acknowledged my response to their mass e-mail yesterday. That was nice of them. Though, I will admit that I was hoping for a fancy admission e-mail before I opened it. I love that they're pretty easy to communicate with.

Is anyone ballsy enough to call admissions and ask why some people got the follow up e-mail yesterday and others didn't? Is this a bad sign? I am not ballsy enough myself but would LOVE to know
