In case anyone is wondering about the way the status updates work, I was accepted on Nov. 2nd and just looked at my status checker again out of curiosity. It was last updated Nov. 21st, so it still updates after acceptance.

It didn't use to be, but the last few weeks may have changed that. I'm not going to accept just yet, but I'd say it's 75% chance I attend. It's 100% free as a state school... That's soooo hard to resist!!crumpetsandtea wrote:HOLY SHIT congrats kring!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You said in chat that Mich is your #1, right? IN TODAY! STILL SHAKING! Got a letter in the mail, thank god I’m home for Thanksgiving. SOOO EXCITED! RD, no Why Michigan (don’t believe the hype, folks), selected for Fall start (was willing to start summer or fall).

Wow, 100% free for a T10 legal education, not too shabby Seriously though, congratulations, you definitely deserve it! Where else did you apply?Kring345 wrote:It didn't use to be, but the last few weeks may have changed that. I'm not going to accept just yet, but I'd say it's 75% chance I attend. Well I just got the letter and I’m able to log on, so probably, but I didn’t find out that way. I think the last day I checked the ASW website was Friday and I couldn’t log on.Tiago Splitter wrote:Were you able to log into the ASW before receiving the letter?AmandaPB wrote:IN TODAY! Not only is it free, our schollys refund as they reclassified them to get out from under Congress' last payor change to the GI Bill...so any $$ you get will help defray what BAH doesn't. PM me if you'd like a vets perspective on the school. Michigan is very pro-military and most vets seem to get around $10K per year.Kring345 wrote:It didn't use to be, but the last few weeks may have changed that. They've been on TLS in the past. While it's not a habit...they do come here. Usually though, they wait for a current student to point out some ridiculous tirade/over-reaction before they do.crumpetsandtea wrote:Maybe Dean Z is reading this and decided to throw y'all a curveball?

Any predictions on when we'll stop seeing movement this week for the holiday? Maybe people will still get status checker emails and decisions up until Thursday?
Submitted 11/02, Receipt email 11/08, still waiting for status checker...

Still haven't gotten the status checker yet, but I'm thinking this is more of a blessing than a curse. Don't know if I'm ready to have status checker addiction yet -_-.

I think someone mentioned this pages ago but i can't seem to find it. Did scholarship offers come with acceptance letters or are they going to be given out separately at a later date?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
