I submitted mid Sept. The thing that seems confusing to me is that people who have submitted later and have similar or lower stats have heard. So I don't quite know their manner of going thru the apps.

Something random I remember from last year, but they said that they tend to not want to accept K-JD kids for summer start because then you'd have school basically from the beginning of your senior year until the end of your 1L year with no summer breaks in between.

I have a 172/3.78. Is 1 LOR okay and a Why Michigan essay advisable for submitting?

Yep, but they did let me know that my app went complete on 11/8, so at least I know it's up for review. Submitted on 10/31.

Yeah I submitted on 11/2, received email on 11/8 (I guess these come in batches at least) nothing since. A status checker would be nice.

I've seen a few people who applied RD and who sent everything in mid-October.
Were any of those people October LSAT re-takers? I was received on 10/18 and complete on 11/3, but I'm not sure if the new scores made them bump me back in line (FWIW they were much better, but it's still new information).
