I have the same thing as all of you. Submitted ~10/25... Complete for over a week... First day w/o updates stuck on the 11/17...

Status Checker email: 11/18

I guess I'll be getting a decision 10-14 days from now. Can't wait.

If we are admitted... Last complete date 11/17... When should we expect to be able to log in to ASW? In a few days? Right away? Gah.

Edit- went back earlier in the thread... It seems like even if we are admitted we won't be able to log in to ASW for at least a few more days... but that was just off of what one person said.

Whoops. You're right. I misread the context of "Wait 10-14 days". It's 10-14 days FROM the point when we see that they have reached a decision.

You're right, it is just a received e-mail. I am as sure my app is complete as I believe that I can be. There's more than the minimum LOR/evals and all that stuff, and I don't have any reason to believe that my report changed or would be any different from the other schools I applied to.

Not that I feel particularly vulnerable to peer pressure, but unless the consensus is that I need to jump on this potential issue in advance of the 3-4 week stated timeline, I think I will wait until next week. Not that I want to wait, not for a second, but I would feel foolish saying that "all my friends on TLS that submitted around the same time have it already so I am calling a week in to the 4 week window you gave me."

If I am off with this please let me know. I don't want to be laissez faire to a fault, but thats second only to being an unnecessarily obtusive applicant.

Yep, definitely seems like that would be the most likely time. Get excited!! (Except not really because it only marks the beginning of the equally-if-not-more-torturous wait for decisions

Nope!! I have no idea if this means we are going to expect to hear something EXCELLENT soon and are part of the same mass mailing... Or if we are all collectively being cast aside in one big "maybe later" pool. (WORST case.) Or... If some of our apps will meet the latter fate and some, the former.

Bottom line- I have absolutely no idea.

How many of you got a letter with a note from Dean Z?

That skyrocketed Mich to my #1 choice. I love how personal everything seems to be there. It's the complete opposite of my experience with UT (bleh).
