+3 I feel emotionally fulfilled....now all I need is a decision, although I suspect that I am in for a wait.

I applied to Michigan first week of November and was accepted the last week of November.Liquox wrote:ScrabbleChamp wrote:Not sure if you took the full context of my statement. Good luck, everyone!

Did you send it as an attachment to an email or just in the email itself? Sorry lots of questions don't want to bother Dean Z...gatorapplicant wrote:i sent a why mich in loci format a month ago and i'm still complete everyday. i don't think it hurts thoughsouthernsuperstar wrote:Hi guysss! What is the consensus on sending in a Why Michigan now? I didn't originally submit one because I didn't think I had a shot at actually getting in. Now that I'm obsessed with the school though, I feel like I should let them know.
Should I do it in a LOCI? Or send it in an email?

I think you mean 'mah sugah mama' but seriously...DC would be SO much more expensive than AA!hyakku wrote:Now to seduce an up and coming senator to be mah sugar momma in DC for the next three years....luxxe if we both end up there I'm gonna recruit you for my cause.
I pay almost $1,200 for a 2-bedroom that's not downtown. Expect to be at the top end of that, or more, if you don't want a roommate or want to be right downtown.wolverine10 wrote:I got to Michigan for undergrad. People sign on housing in October/November; its absurdly early. Although its not as expensive as DC but as far as college real estate goes its fairly expensive, 650-1000 a month depending on where you are living
This is seriously stressing me out.wolverine10 wrote:Yea thats true. I pay 620 but I live about a 15 min walk from the downtown bars and the law school. Luxury apartments built in AA are close to 1200 a month. All the affordable housing is gone by now though
i'm guessing the 24th or 27th, but, hey, in the meantime we can still hope, right? (looks around nervously for approval)Nelson wrote:Michigan, where are these waitlists at? I'm ready to wrap this up.

i don't think that it is a stretch to say that this is an "unusual" cycle. because apps are down, they are waiting until the end to make more decisions.calverna wrote:I read an interview with Dean Tom from Berkeley where he writes that approximately 25% of their spots remain by the time the application deadline rolls around. I'm going to apply some wishful thinking and say this is the exact same for Michigan. And we're all going to get accepted. And I'm going to win the lottery.
*firm nod*
I do feel that way a little bit. If it's any comfort, you'll be so busy you'll barely know who you're living with. Especially if they are in a different section. I barely saw my roommate last year. I had morning classes, he had mainly afternoon. I came home in the afternoon to study, and he stayed at the library until ridiculously late studying.Killingly wrote:
