Just got an email to call the Dean of admissions to "discuss my application". Just tried calling and he didn't pick up, guess I'll try again in a little bit.

It might be the interview before the acceptance. If you didn't write a why UVA, be prepared to be asked just in case.

I actually did write a Why UVA. Just about on campus now so going to try calling again.

What is a Dean's Scholarship? I'm still really confused about what types of scholarships UVA offers. There isn't much info on them, but it seems they don't give out very many full rides. Are they all dependent on maintaining a certain GPA too?

Dean's scholarship is 90k over 3 years. And no, t14 money is no strings attached.
