From what I hear, it's only too late once the ED deadline has passed. If you're comfortable with the debt and sold on UVa, go for it!

Sorry if this question has already been asked and answered, but I couldn't find it.

The UVA status checker is not worth checking after you go complete right? Nothing will change until you get good news via phone call or bad news via email?

I don't think so. Mine hasn't changed since mid-September. Pretty sure you're just stuck waiting until the WL email or you get in.

Did you write a why UVA? I wouldn't worry about WL until the end of January.

I went complete 9/02 and have heard nothing... I don't exactly have my hopes up.

And since there's no ED deadline, I guess I can wait for a bit. Thanks, much appreciated.

So at what point can us 9/1ers begin to assume WL/Reject if we have yet to hear back?

That date is the only one mentioned. Do they typically have multiple dates or something?

Yeah, congrats! And it's always nice to see some movement from UVA :)

LOL. This would be pretty good pasquinade of TLS anxieties if it didn't seem so genuine.

Anyway, allow me to put you at ease: you have at least a month (probably longer) until you can begin to worry. The person who got in today and submitted on 11/30 is a complete anomaly. Good luck!

10/27 and no movement for me, but I'm RD and out of state so it was a bit of a long-shot to begin with
