Just finished my app today and sent it in.. Probably pissing in the wind with my stats, but figured it was best with a fee waiver.. Pre-law adviser from UG institution says i'll be competitive, but I think he's only been doing that for 2 or so years

I called him abooooout two minutes after he sent the email, but I just happened to be checking my email at a good time okay , but he totally called me out on it.

Congrats!!!! I am glad I just got a call out of the blue. If I got the email I would be like too busy peeing my pants to call them back

As I said before I am in with a low GPA (156) and a 4.0 GPA and just got a $75,000 scholarship! Beyond ecstatic. I think UVA Law is THE ONE!

My application went complete for ED on 1/12 and I have yet to hear a response. I also updated my application about a week ago. Would it be in poor taste or too annoying to send a follow-up email to check on my application status?

Does anyone know if UVA requests interviews or takes requests for interviews? I know some other T14s do; but didn't know if this was a 'common' occurrence at UVA or just reserved for special cases

It changes to say you are accepted after the admissions package is mailed. Otherwise, not that I know of

Accepted yesterday via email/call-back! Very excited!
Complete since 11/29... status never changed (until this morning). Reverse splitter.

I applied on Monday (2/6) and heard back this afternoon via phone call and email. But, I did the binding ED option.

The header changes when you're waitlisted, too.

It also goes "complete" to "complete and under consideration" when review starts.
