3.37/167/Mexican URM, pretty big longshot for me, not holding my breath for this one.

Really? I'd think you have an excellent chance, unless Mexicans don't really get URM boosts anymore.

Pretty sure they still do.

But, what is Penn's GPA Floor?

Really? back at ya. I mean, I'd love Penn but I just feel like I'm too far below the medians. Hopefully the ED and somewhat early app help somewhat, but still.

And no relevant MA-URM LSN datapoints for me to look at, unfortunately.

That's an awesome chart. The only thing that is off to me is the gpa floors for the top 3. I have seen multiple people on LSN with gpa's below what is listed for HYS get in.

Two people accepted ED last year had below 3.4 - 3.33 and 3.27. There was at least a half dozen sub 3.4 RD admits as well.

That floor is also in yellow, meaning the floor is softer than those in red. Below 3.4 is certainly dangerous territory for Penn but it can be overcome.

Fair enough. I was beginning to question how the "floors" were determined, especially when I saw Virginia as a 3.30.

I'm looking at HLS right now and they're all URM's. I hope you're right about the floor being off though

LSN seems to indicate that a 170 LSAT with at least a 3.3 is golden for ED applicants barring something bad. It really starts to drop off at 170 though, seems the magic number. That means good luck for myself an Cornelius (170/3.55 here). I don't know anything about URM boosts, so I can't make any predictions, but check LSN's ED applicants from past years. Hope to see you guys next year...

This is results of all ED applicants on LSN (URM-excluded). You can just cycle through the years and check it out. If you're urm, just do another search.

Again, good luck all.

Noticed the same thing, as I'm a 171/3.53. I'm hoping I'm good based on trends in previous years for ED, but we'll see...

Pretty encouraging, actually. Even if the URM boost were something like 3-5 LSAT points (conjecture) it'd seem like I've got a decent shot via ED. People with lower GPA's than me getting in ED.

I wouldn't put it in points terms, but I think you have a wonderful chance, from what I think I know.

And horrorbusiness - sucks that there is not more info on URM EDs with ur stats, but yea i agree with peeps about your solid chances. Guess you can be the LSN pioneer on that one.

It'll be a great day when we can all post in the Class of 2015 thread! I think us TLS EDers are all looking quite solid.

So, how about a shot in heck for a 161, 4.11, NA, early decision applicant...? Is that lsat just too low for them?

We don't get many NAs (nor does anyone else). I think it depends on the rest of application, I don't think numbers are as determinative for someone like you.

Agreed, probably pretty pointless to try and quantify, if only it were that simple! Actually, that'd be kind of disturbing. But thanks for the optimism from you and everyone else, much appreciated. 8) Hope all of us EDers get good news soon.
