There are some, Geneva for example. I think Lawbro et al. are right when they suspect that you'll be part of the last 2/17 batch from which they reject and/or waitlist people. They'll take whoever's left and combine them with the people who survived the last 2 waitlist/rejection waves and give them a bunch of waitlists/acceptances. We could also see some acceptances starting today...

UR: 2/17-->3/22
Accepted People: How many days between going to UR 2 and getting accepted? Does Penn accept people by email?

Some get answers right after their 2nd UR but it seems to be different for different people. I had by 2nd UR on 1/23 and still have not heard.

I think you and HannahMontana are clear candidates for YP. By any chance, is Penn #1 for either of you?

Any word yet on when Penn will give out non-named scholarships?

How are people hearing about scholarships now? Email/mail/phone? Do they inform differently for named/no-name scholarships?

I was just rejected :(
I wrote a "Why Penn" essay. I guess my LSAT score was just too low?

Sorry about that :( .. I hope you get into other good schools!

Would you mind sharing your complete dates?

Thank you. Good luck to you! I haven't been following the dates but I applied pretty late in the cycle (after Dec. LSAT scores were released) and I got a 165/3.8. I'm pretty sure my LSAT is what killed me. I was hoping to boost my chances of getting off the waitlist by retaking LSAT in June and cracking 170...but I guess Penn really doesn't want me since they didn't even waitlist me?

I think it was your LSAT score ... You have a great GPA .. if you are keen on joining Penn Law .. you should def. consider retaking and reapplying.

I don't know about that...you're an URM, aren't you, Aqua? Those are actually really strong numbers for an URM, especially at Penn. I don't know what's up, but I'd be surprised if your LSAT score was the issue...

I'm half AA and half German and wrote a pretty strong diversity statement. I'm a little confused too just because Columbia and Harvard placed me on hold, so I was hoping for at least a waitlist. Does this mean an LSAT retake won't help me at Penn? Is it crazy to try to call to see what the deal is?

Don't call. Sometimes crazy things happen. I'm T6 secured and just got dinged by WULST (my "safety" LOL). (I forgot I even applied! Never checked the status checker). Admissions is not a science. I know a hurts right now, but you'll be fine. In the end things work out and you'll go to a great school. You'll go where you're meant to be. Don't be too upset. I'm sorry Aqua.

Thank you! I appreciate your kind words. I take things way too personally and keep wondering what I did wrong. Congrats on getting into T6. I bet WUSTL is probs a YP.

Thank you! You too! Also, I am a dumb. HAHAHA I was waitlisted at WUSTL not dinged. That's what happens when you only read part of the email.

Can someone remind me how many times we go under review before a decision is rendered? (Status checker just went from 2/17 to 3/27).
