I have heard that if accepted under ED to Penn, they will send out letters to the other schools you applied telling them so. I went under review super early at Penn (10/20), and applied in mid-September to other T-14's. My status checker on the other T-14's websites have not budged once. Is it possible that this could be a sign of them telling other schools not to waste time if the applicant is already admitted? Maybe my app just sucks
lol but makes me wonder...
Thank you planting that in my head. Until now, I freaked out about non-changing status updates. Now, I'm going to have freak out whenever they change as well.
But didn't you say you saw some status checker movement in the Gtown thread?
Nope. I'm still stuck at 10/11 for Gtown... I wouldn't worry about it though, seems like everyone here agreed it was a crazy thought lol
Also, how are people getting these fancy viewbooks?

Originally I didn't submit the optional Penn specific essay, I submitted a diversity statement and addendum instead... but I would like to submit a "why penn". So should I ask admissions if I can supplement my app, or should I wait to see if I am waitlisted and then submit a 'why penn"?

Hmmm. I've been complete since Oct. 29th but no status checker... Only school I've applied to that hasn't given me one... Should I contact them?

Status date updated to today, so I guess it's moving through review.

Just checking in here as the suspense is killing me. Just looking at that acceptance date graph makes me nervous. First week of December can't get here soon enough.

Is "in queue" for committee review and under review the same thing? I'm in the queue.

Don't think so, mine actually says "under committee review".

I wonder if they're updating random groups to under review or if it's moving in chronological order. I've been "in queue" since late Sept.

I've been under committee review since the 10th (I think) and I still am but my status date just updated to 11/17. Praying its a good sign...I want to go to Penn so bad.

So if I'm still under review as of 10/20, does this mean Penn doesn't love me?

I'm ED, which explains the updating status date. Last year they sent decisions out on what would be about 3 weeks from now.

I went complete on the 7th, so they're probably just going through the ED apps in order.

Not necessarily... I submitted in mid September, went under review on 10/20, and nothing since. You went under review after me twice... It seems the initial under review goes in order, but after that idk. Ps. I want your LSAT lol

I didn't think you were ED.
And thanks.
I was really hoping for 1 more point, and was pretty devastated when I looked back through my wrong answers on my LSAT. There was one question in particular, on the bikes logic game, where I read the letter "J" as "G", making two of the answer choices effectively the same - the other one was correct. Stupid alphabet.

Yep I'm ED, super reach for me though. You won't need the alphabet anyway
I think you will be fine with those numbers and ED.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
