In today: median LSAT, smidge above median GPA. Went complete 10/20, have been "Under Committee Review" for a week or so.

I have been Under Committee Review since 11/23 - and no movement since. I have well above median GPA, but LSAT is under median (but above 25th). Any thoughts on why lack of movement? Should I expect them to hold on to my app for a while?

So far almost everyone who's gotten in has been LSAT>=170.

You're going to get at least one, probably all, of YHS unless you have some C&F issue or something. But yeah, write a Why Penn? essay if you are really worried.

I do have a medical leave issue but I explained in an addendum so hopefully that time off isn't affecting me...I didn't have a choice but to take that time off...hoping I will still hear this week, if not I will write a why penn....and the medical issue has been resolved for 2 yrs so I explained that

No...did a different optional essay

If you did do any of the optional essays it should help keep you from getting YP'd, but even if you are WL'd I'm sure you'd be off really quickly, I wouldn't worry at all!

I was complete at 11/4 until this morning, when I went under committee review for the first time. I'm sure you'll go UR very soon, if not tomorrow.

What was your LSAT if you don't mind me asking. Anything else that might have put you over the top?

Dumb question, what is YP?

Yield protect, basically waitlisting really good applicants instead of just admitting them because they're afraid they'll go to a higher-ranked school.

complete on like Nov 4 or so. It's been a long time since I last heard from Penn.

I went complete a little after you and have the same stats and I got accepted today, my last UR date was 12/05 and I wrote a "Why Penn." They may not be outright YP'ing people with our numbers, I wouldn't worry too much.
