I didn't get a fee waiver, but my application is ready. Do you think they'll be sending out more fee waivers anytime in the next few weeks? Should I wait, or just send it in?

Seems like we're always on the same boat with fee waivers. I'm debating about sending my application too.

Boat's getting crowded. I'll probably wait another week or two and then just bite the bullet if no waiver comes my way.

Last year Penn gave out snail mail fee waivers first on the 20th and then hidden ones on the 24th. Nothing else. I'd try soliciting. If they don't give it to you, then just send off the app.

I don't think I'll be writing that one, considering it would be completely forced... unless I write about why One L is a seminal work of legal thought

For those wondering, Penn is sending unsolicited fee waivers via e-mail. Sorry if this has already been posted.

Still waiting on mine to be complete. It's odd. There are discrepancies between the LSAC report page and Penn's application status page.

For one, LSAS doesn't have down that it sent Penn my 2nd LOR, but the application status check for Penn does.

But then again, for many of the required items in the application status checklist is unchecked even though it should have been sent with my lsac application. Things including personal statement, optional essays, even recommendation letters.

Did you have this same problem before becoming complete?

Anyone else looking to visit? I'm out-of-state, thinking about flying in to visit on October 17th.

No, I didn't. That's weird. I would call LSAC and see if they can be of assistance.

Interesting. For me, LSAC says they've sent my LOR and the status checker says that Penn has received my LOR.

But, my checklist is exactly the same:

It takes a few days for them to sort out your docs and put in your file. Wait a week or so then call the admissions office if you are still not complete.

Yeah. I submitted it on the 15th, but if you look at LSN, only 3 people have gone complete so far: http://penn.lawschoolnumbers.com/applicants/1112

Just impatient

Haha I completely understand. However, it could be that a) those people are treating LSAC complete as complete and b) their report was sent sooner than yours.

Don't worry, unless you ED, you won't hear back (if you get in during the same wave) until the week before Christmas. Even then, you could be the last person called at 5:59PM (or something like that) on the third day of phone calls. Patience is going to help! :)

Best of luck though! Hope you are the first one called.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
