Omg, if you get in are you ditching me at Mich?

I never expected to get Mich, and it will blow my mind if I get Penn. I'd have to make a hhhaaarrddd decision, if I get in.

I know what you mean. The only reason I would consider Penn is because the hubby can probably get a job in PA. He's having a really hard time looking in Mich.

Why so surly?

They apparently didn't get to 12/19 - 1/11 URs. That's all I can tell you. I think all admissions calls were 1/3.

Haha, good point. I got 4 A's and 1 A+ this semester, so I'm feeling fairly good about this, as my LSDAS GPA will improve. They must be looking for a reason to admit me, I mean, why not just put me on the waitlist?

Well if that's the case, then being on the Penn waitlist must actually mean something, unlike UVA

Waitlist email today. Not too surprised, Penn was quite the reach for me. I'm going to ride it out and see if I can hit the lottery with a new essay for them.

Up late looking at Penn, and I want it really bad... I submitted a letter to accompany my updated transcript last week, and in the letter included a brief "why Penn," but now I'm thinking I should have included an informal commitment to withdraw all other apps upon admission to Penn, because I certainly would, and I have heard Penn is rather mindful of yield.

I probably shouldn't submit ANOTHER addition to my app stating that, right?

Same here. I think we should have perhaps EDed to UPenn instead of to Columbia.

EDIT: Really wish Penn has their ED deadline in March instead of November.
