Got a fee waiver and applied a month ago. Rejected today, pretty expected. At least they got back to me quickly?

I'm assuming this is only for non-URM?

After checking out LSN as a 10/25 submit who hasn't been rejected or waitlisted yet, I'm guessing that bodes well. Hopefully I can get some love from Columbia in the next few weeks (or months).

Yes of course.

dude, I'm only a 176. Also, based on last year, it looked like 3.5+ and 175-177 all had the same outcomes.

I hadn't been checking my email and I checked it today to find an email from Columbia saying that I had been held :( Im sure this has been discussed in this thread but I haven't/don't have time to read through the 118 pages, does anybody know what being reserved really even means or how many people get admitted off of the reserve group? ?

it's rare to get in off CLS's reserve.

Hmm. Not sure what exactly I was talking about...sounds stupid. Although, looking at the graphs again, I think I was referring to THIS cycle, not last.

Also, I think being anywhere above a 75th is essentially the same thing. It doesn't really have an impact on their rankings, does it? Same goes for being below a median. The point was: if you could have done anything about your (relatively) low GPA, it was knock one out the park on the LSAT, which you did.

Does Columbia's status checker change based on your decision? I won't be home for a week to check my mail, and I was wondering if I could see my decision via the status check.

Nope. Columbia's status checker is pretty much useless. Once you go complete, it permanently stays that way.

Oddly slow day on TLS. I might have to notice some meaningless change in wording on the status checker to get things moving

10/25 submit and I have been accepted, rejected, or waitlisted. What's going on. People who've applied before and after according to LSN have been receiving either of the three decisions.
